Welcome to Congregation Beth Ohr!  

WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT CANTOR MOLLY MAY WILL BE JOINING US ON SEPTMBER 22^nd FOR ROSH HASHANAH AND ON OCTOBER 1^st FOR YOM KIPPUR.  

On behalf of the leadership and members of Congregation Beth Ohr, I would like to welcome you to our newly revised website. My name is Joel Mishkin, and I have been the rabbi here at Beth Ohr since July 2014. One of my initial observations when I first arrived at our synagogue was that this was a most unique environment, unlike many other institutions. There was a genuine warmth and solicitous ambience within the walls of our lovely sanctuary. We do not just say that we are friendly. We really are friendly! Newcomers to our congregation were immediately welcomed and made to feel completely at ease. Furthermore, over the years this sense of openness and friendliness has only deepened.
